I can’t believe September is almost over and it’s the last day of Summer. I’ve been a busy bee sewing up a storm this week – building up inventory. I’ll be selling at the Hester Street Fair three Saturdays in October with some EtsyNY team mates. Yes that’s right. Me selling at a fair for the very first time!! I’ve only heard good things about the Hester Street Fair so I’m glad it’ll be my first.

Thoughts on display? Well, I have an idea on what I want it to look like. But first it’s getting my product ready. I still have two weeks to prepare.

On a side note, I’ve been running. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it here before but I started the beginning of the month 3 times a week and only about 2 miles each time – building up my tolerance slowly. I tried to run last year but it just wasn’t happening. Lasted 3 runs. I could barely do 2 miles and hated every second while doing it. I don’t know what changed but after 8 times of running this month, yesterday which wasn’t my day to run ( I usually go Mon, Wed and Fri), I just felt like running! Just getting up and going. So I dropped my sewing, got dressed and went.

I made it to 2.5 miles – which isn’t much to some but a shit load for me! This has been a huge milestone. I hated running! The fact that I had an urge to run is beyond me! I’m running up hills where last year I wasn’t able to and this time around I’m running it like nothing! No aches or pains because I’m taking it slowly and increasing the distance a little bit at a time. It’s all coming together and so easily this time.

Bottom line, what do you want out of this life? Then get to it!
It doesn’t matter what you want to do or how you do it but that you just do it!
It doesn’t matter how long it took you to do it but the fact that you did it!

Have a great weekend!
