So last friday was my birthday – 222. I’m officially 35, can’t believe it! aaaah I’m almost 40. I really don’t feel the age, even though I still get depressed when I think about the “number”. My body and mind feel youthful, like I’m still in my late 20’s … of course more knowledgeable about life stuff, haha that’s what I’d like to think. Little do we really know!

We spent the weekend off from work and just enjoyed it around the neighborhood. We made a last minute decision and drove out to Sag Harbor and Montauk. It was a nice long drive out.

Ok here’s the truth … so the main reason for Sag Harbor was that John Steinbeck had a house out there (8th photo) and since we’ve already visited his house out in Salinas, CA … it was a “hey, why not?!” moment. We’ve never been so we just did it. As you can see, we are total fans of his work. His home was in an amazing spot, on the edge surrounded by the harbor. Here’s a video we found with up close shots of the house and grounds on youtube.

We had a vision! Calmness and Quietness is what we need to seek for our own sanity. We may be in a need for a move to reach that goal. Who knows what the future holds.

Have you ever been to the tip of Long Island?
